A little over a decade ago, our desire to innovate led us to develop ideas to produce a unique meat that embodies the identity of the Gaspé Peninsula. Our expertise, combined with that of the Centre d’expertise en production ovine du Québec (CEPOQ), allowed us to implement a rigorous set of specifications ensuring the quality of our product, seaweed-fed lamb.
Moreover, evaluations conducted with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec (MAPAQ) have demonstrated that this alliance between land and sea, through the addition of seaweed to the diet, gives our product superior taste qualities, unique tenderness, and marbling.
In response to the growing demand for our exceptionally high-quality lamb, several partner farms sharing our values and convictions have joined us over the years. With its unique characteristics, seaweed-fed lamb now stands out among fine butchery customers throughout Quebec.
