A little over ten years ago, our desire to innovate led us to develop with the help of many experts a unique meat that reflects the Gaspésian identity. Evaluations conducted in the laboratories of the MAPAQ subsequently demonstrated that the alliance between land and sea, through the addition of seaweed to the ration, confers superior taste qualities as well as a unique tenderness and marbling to our product.
Through its characteristics, seaweed-fed lamb now stands out among fine butchery customers throughout Quebec.
Several sister farms that share our values and beliefs have joined us over the years to meet the growing demand for our unique and exceptional quality lambs. We are now proud to collectively pursue the momentum of this project that unites us: to offer a superior quality local lamb from a farm where respect for animal welfare and the environment are at the forefront.
